IJAI

The International Journal of Administrative Innovation (IJAI) publishes several types of scholarly manuscripts that are relevant to the fields of public administration, governance, public policy, administrative reform, digital government, organizational management, and public sector innovation. Each manuscript must be submitted to the appropriate section according to its type, purpose, and academic contribution.

All manuscripts submitted to peer-reviewed sections will undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, originality, compliance with author guidelines, and similarity level. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be processed through a double-blind peer review system before a final editorial decision is made.

Review Articles

This section publishes systematic reviews, literature reviews, bibliometric studies, and critical reviews of existing scholarship. Manuscripts should provide a comprehensive, analytical, and critical discussion of previous studies and offer new insights, research gaps, or future research directions in the field of administration, governance, public policy, or public sector management. Articles in this section are subject to peer review.

Editorial

This section contains editorial notes, introductory remarks, or invited writings prepared by the Editor-in-Chief, editorial board members, or invited contributors. Editorial manuscripts usually discuss current issues, journal development, publication trends, or themes related to a specific issue. Manuscripts in this section are not normally subject to external peer review but are reviewed internally by the editorial team.

The editorial team reserves the right to determine whether a submitted manuscript is appropriate for the selected section. If necessary, the editor may move a manuscript to a more suitable section after considering its content, structure, and contribution.
