IJAI

The International Journal of Administrative Innovation (IJAI) applies a peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, validity, and relevance of all manuscripts submitted to the journal. Every manuscript submitted to IJAI will be evaluated through an editorial and peer review procedure before a publication decision is made.

The peer review process begins with an initial screening by the editorial team. At this stage, the editors evaluate the manuscript’s suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, compliance with author guidelines, originality, academic quality, and similarity level. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected before being sent to reviewers.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to at least one independent reviewers who have expertise relevant to the topic of the manuscript. IJAI uses a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.

Reviewers are expected to evaluate the manuscript objectively based on its originality, clarity, theoretical contribution, methodological soundness, data analysis, discussion, conclusion, and relevance to the field of public administration, governance, public policy, administrative innovation, and related areas.

Based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations, the editor may make one of the following decisions:

• Accepted
• Accepted with minor revisions
• Revisions required
• Resubmit for review
• Rejected

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ comments and editorial suggestions. Revised manuscripts must be submitted together with a response to reviewers explaining how the comments have been addressed. The editor may send the revised manuscript back to the reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.

The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of a manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief or the assigned editor based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the quality of the revised manuscript, and the journal’s editorial standards. The editorial board reserves the right to make the final decision on all submitted manuscripts.

IJAI is committed to ensuring that the peer review process is conducted fairly, objectively, transparently, and confidentially. All parties involved in the review process must disclose any potential conflict of interest and maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
